Elliot Keane

Elliot Keane, with his wife Sarah, is Lead Pastor at Richmond Baptist Church in Adelaide, South Australia. They have three children, Aarian, Ronin and Torin. Since 2011 Elliot has led Richmond from almost closing its doors to being a sustainable and vibrant family church in the inner West of Adelaide. Elliot also works with churches across his state in his role as the Leadership Development Facilitator for Baptist Churches of SA. His passions include community engagement, equipping God's people for Kingdom work and pointing people to King Jesus. Elliot's hobbies include hiking, going on adventures with his kids and taking Sarah out on dates. 

Chee Seng Fah

Chee Seng Fah is married to Wei Lyn and serves as the Senior Pastor at Clayton Church of Christ.  They have two sons: Judah and Micah. Chee's passion is to teach/preach the Word of God and to equip and train disciples towards a disciple-making movement in Australia. Chee's hobbies include playing music, reading, travelling and playing sport (basketball, table tennis and golf).

Julian Dunham

Julian and his wife Amanda have four daughters Jemima, Matilda, Mabel and Elsie. Julian began pastoral ministry at New Hope Baptist in 1991 and in 1996 moved to serve at New Peninsula. In 1999, he initiated New Peninsula’s highly effective Ministry Training Program. Julian is a graduate of Arrow 4 (2001/2002) and was Senior Pastor at Lilydale Baptist Church from 2004 to 2008. Julian was appointed as Emerging Leaders Program Director in 2008 and in February 2017 he pioneered a new role as Program Director of Arrow Developing, developing leaders in the majority world.  

Peter Carolane

Arrow 5 - Arrow Leader

For the past decade, Peter has worked in youth ministry and evangelism. In 2003, he founded "Mustard", a schools ministry movement connecting with over 30 schools. From 2004- 2012, Peter has been team leader of youth and young adults’ ministry at St Hilary's Anglican Church Kew, and in 2012 he became the Vicar of St Silas, North Balwyn, a congregation of St Hilary’s. He trained as a classical viola player and over the past 15 years has recorded and played in the Melbourne band scene. Peter recently completed a PhD in Aboriginal Mission History, and in December 2013, planted Merri Creek Anglican Church in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. Peter is married to Jo and they have two sons, Leo and Ezra.

Craig Corkill

Craig Corkill has served for many years as the Senior Pastor of Narara Valley Baptist Church on the Central Coast of NSW. Prior to this, he planted a church in southwestern Sydney, and in that time also served as a chaplain in the Australian Army. Craig is passionate about seeing churches reach their redemptive potential, and growing disciples who are desperate for God and passionate for people. He is currently undertaking a research doctorate developing an evidence-based approach to discipleship of new believers in Jesus. Craig is married to Carolyn and they have 3 children. For recreation & fitness Craig enjoys water sports and engaging in boxing training.

Sarah Starrenburg

Sarah believes ideas change everything, and loves helping people access and engage with powerful ideas. For many years she has worked with United Bible Societies, where she is currently involved in global strategy development and communication. Prior to this, she has worked in teaching and ministry, including three years at Nexus Church while she completed her Master of Arts in Theological Studies. She is passionate about the health of the local community, and volunteers as chair of the fundraising and marketing committee for Nexus Care, a local poverty alleviation charity in Brisbane. Sarah is an avid reader and writes both in a freelance capacity and for adeliberatelife.org. 

Grant Heslop

Grant Heslop is on the pastoral team of Padstow Baptist Community Church. He is also the Manager of Community Care, a community ministry of the church. He is married to Wendy and has two children Isaac and Sarah. Grant's passion is to see the church develop and grow leaders that transform their local communities and introduce them to the extravagant love of Jesus. He enjoys developing and supporting staff and volunteers of Community Care as they provide services and support for vulnerable people. Grant also leads teams on short-term mission trips to India to experience ministry alongside the church's mission partners. Grant loves cricket (whether watching or playing), fishing and enjoys anything outdoors with family or friends.

Kate Boughton

Kate Boughton is currently an Assistant Minister at St Jude’s Anglican (Errol St and St Jude’s Community Church congregations) where her ministry responsibilities include ministry to youth, children and their families, training leaders, teaching, strategy, direction, and pastoral care. She loves to see God at work and thinks it is a great and wonderful privilege to walk alongside people, to encourage them as they endeavour to faithfully follow Jesus all the days of their lives.   

Aashish Parmar

Aash Parmar is married to Louise and is Dad to Micah, Keziah and Judah. Aash divides his time between two roles as the Senior Pastor of Ellenbrook Baptist Church in Perth, WA and as Recruitment Coordinator for Arrow Leadership. He loves being a part of challenging leadership conversations as well as seeing leaders discover the Spirit’s rhythm in their development. Prior to ministry in Ellenbrook, Aash was raised in Africa and then moved to the Goldfields of Western Australia where he served in youth and then senior ministry roles in Kalgoorlie. He is invested in closing the gap in leadership development opportunities for the young, the minority and the disengaged. He also loves Manchester United and spending time connecting with people over board games, sport and mindless trivia.

Nathan McElveney

Nathan McElveney

Nathan is married to Amy, and they have three daughters – Lucy, Zoe & Lara. As well as being involved in various church ministries at Epping Church of Christ, he has been involved in camping ministry since 1998. Nathan has been working for Crusaders since 2004, where he currently serves as the Director of Ministries. In his spare time, he likes to read the newspaper, which he sometimes manages to do within a week of publication, or a good book.

Julie-anne Laird

Julie-anne works as a senior staffworker at Melbourne University with AFES helping students to talk about their faith well, to live it out well and to think it through well. She is married to Andrew and has four children and they all play in a family Basketball team together. In 2012, Julie-anne was appointed as Chair of the Australian Lausanne Committee and has been involved in Arrow for AGES!!

Kimberly Smith is a Pastor, Author and Speaker, and a lover of travel, eating out and all things people. She is an Associate Pastor at Werribee Baptist Church – a role she loves and has thrived in for 14 years. She is part of the preaching, worship and Executive teams as well as giving oversight to the Generations and Church Life departments. Kim enjoys her involvement in the BUV Next Generation Leaders vision team and other opportunities she has to invest in people and ministries – preaching, sharing and blogging as often as she is able (particularly around the topics of sexuality, identity and relationships). She is the author of the book "What We Cannot Be Alone" - seeking to bring understanding to Singleness as it pertains to church family.

Mike Stevens

Mike is the husband to Michelle and father to Ella, Ben and Lucy. Mike has a real passion in seeing people come to know Jesus, coaching and developing leaders, and developing effective discipleship pathways in the local church. He has worked as a teacher, school chaplain, a long term youth Pastor, and has recently become the Senior Pastor at Clovercrest Baptist church in Adelaide. Mike loves all kinds of sports and good coffee!

Mark is the Worship Pastor at Gateway Baptist Church in Brisbane. He enjoys spending time with his wife Eden, and boys Harrison and Luca. Mark also enjoys watching sport and playing the occasional round of golf.

Sharon Clanfield

Sharon has a passion for the word of God and loves how it comes alive and how it is still relevant for us today. Using her experience and training in coaching and mentoring, Sharon also has a passion to come alongside leaders helping them to grow deeper in their relationship with God and developing their leadership capacity. Sharon and her husband Neil are Salvation Army officers currently serving as Area Officers in Queensland. Sharon loves spending time with family and is enjoying this special time in her life being a grandmother. She loves to bike ride, relax at coffee shops and watch good movies.

Martin Conway

Martin is presently serving as the Director of Students - Years 3 to 6, at Barker College. Martin and wife Joanne enjoy a busy family life with four children Matthew, Jessica, Toby and Sarah. He is excited about the privilege of working in partnership with colleagues to provide high quality education while seeking to communicate in word and deed the gospel of Jesus Christ to students, staff, parents and the wider community. With 20 years working in the independent education sector in Sydney, discovering the value of exploring the inner landscape and the purpose and heart of the teacher, has proved significant for both learning and reflection in recent years. Sharing the rich blessings of life with family and friends brings great joy as does the opportunity to read, surf, ride and run a long way on a bush trail somewhere in Australia.

Julie is Head of Primary at Caloundra Christian College on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. She is married to Troy and together they have three adult children in various professions, along with two beautiful grandchildren. Julie is extremely passionate about her job with the ambition of leading a school into the 21st century, being aware of the modern trends in educational thinking, which underpin Biblical Christian Philosophy and pedagogy, keeping Godly authority and reverence, for God's creative order in Teaching and Learning. In Julie’s spare time, she enjoys camping, staying fit and healthy, sewing, reading, and looking after her grandchildren.
