Super Year of Investing in Leadership Development

In response to strong interest, it is with a sense of excitement that we announce not one but TWO winners - Rosie Kendall and Daniel Lee - as the inaugural recipients of the Christian Super and Arrow Leadership Scholarship for 2018.

As members of Christian Super, Rosie and Daniel know the importance of the right investment. Rosie (serving as Chief Executive Officer with Christians Against Poverty Australia) and Daniel (serving as Head of Middle School, St Andrews Christian College) are excited about participating in Arrow Leadership’s Executive Leaders Programs as a strategic investment in their leadership development.

Nathan Buttigieg, Christian Super’s Chief Member Officer shared, “We want to see our members achieve everything that they have been called to, and through this opportunity with Arrow we see a small way that we can directly contribute to this. The Arrow Executive Leadership programs have been contributing to Christian Leaders and their development for a number of years now and this scholarship provides a great way for us to sow into some of our members and indeed the broader Christian community, through equipping them with the high-level leadership skills needed for success.”

Executive Director of Arrow Leadership, Liam Glover remarked, “Knowing Christian Super’s commitment to supporting their members, we realised partnering together would be beneficial not just for individual members but the organisations in which their members serve.”

Arrow Leadership’s Executive Leaders Program, a confluence of character, call and capability development, serves Christian Leaders from the Not for Profit and Education sectors around Australia.

Rosie shared, “I feel honoured and privileged to have been selected as one of the first recipients of the Christian Super Arrow Leadership Scholarship. I recognise that these opportunities are unique, am thankful and look forward to the learning journey in the year ahead.”

“I'm so excited to learn from my future peers and mentors as we spur each other on to be led more like Jesus, lead more like Jesus and lead more to Jesus,” commented Daniel.

Nathan continued, “The quality of the applications for the 2018 scholarship were at an outstanding level and we expect the interest in future scholarship opportunities will continue to grow.”
