Tim Morris-Smith Scholarship

For 2022, Supa Thejan and Joel O’Rielly are the Tim Morris Smith Scholarship recipients. The scholarship, named after Tim Morris-Smith (Arrow Leader and former Board Member), continues the legacy of his dedication to young leaders and the Christian Not For Profit sector.

Supa serves as Merchandise Manager at Leprosy Mission, an organisation which seeks to bring about transformation; breaking the chains of leprosy, empowering people to attain healing, dignity and life in all its fullness. He shares, “I am extremely grateful to be given the Tim Morris-Smith scholarship, which has not only given me financial assistance but also extra motivation to help others and give back to the community. I can’t wait to join Arrow next year and learn more leadership skills through this great program.”

Joel, equally passionate about developing as a leader, commented, “I am so very appreciative of the support through the Tim Morris-Smith scholarship. To be able to develop leadership skills to support the many government and non-government agencies my role interfaces with is very exciting. I am looking forward to applying new skills learnt through the Arrow Executive Leaders program to my work in child protection across SA.” Joel serves as Lead Clinician for the Department of Child Protection in South Australia.
