Arrow Rise Program

So you’re looking to understand more about this idea of ‘leadership’ that people have spoken over you? Fantastic!

Welcome to a community that will equip AND encourage you as you discover Gods heart for you and humanity.

Arrow Rise is for young leaders aged between 18 and 25 who are committed to Christian discipleship, volunteering in a leadership position, serving in a local church or Christian organisation and who have a deep desire for greater Christ-like leadership. Maybe you’re working or interning with your Church, or wanting to grow more in the Not-for-Profit space. We’ve got your back!

Through community, online and in-person learning you’ll participate in our newest well-regarded program that includes a residential retreat, online learning components, experienced leadership partners, peer groups, reading rooms, personal development projects and much more.

Here are the dates for 2023:

Introduction - Tuesday 16 May 2023 (Virtual)
Residential - 16-19 June 2023 (Melbourne, Vic)
Learning Session - Monday 24 July 2023 (Virtual)
Program completion - Thursday 14 December 2023 (Virtual)

Peer Group and Leadership Partner meetings occur throughout the program.

Well there's a few really good reasons...

  • You want to understand more of the leadership call people speak over you.
  • You want to do this in community - with a bunch of new and existing followers of Jesus from around Australia.
  • You want face to face, online and hybrid learning experiences.
  • You want to have fun whilst discovering God's heart for you AND humanity
  • You want to represent Jesus well in your whole life.

"Seriously, how quickly can I APPLY?"

There’s a lot that goes into our Rise Program, and whether you are an individual wanting to join us, or a church/NFP internship program partner, you’ll get to experience the whole scope of the elements below.

Online Learning

The cohort will connect virtually with each other over two major content sessions:

  • Introduction Session
  • Productivity and Personal Organisation

Residential Retreat

Participants will come together from across the country to participate in a four day (Friday-Monday), interactive residential retreat filled with experiential learning and dynamic content by some of Australia’s best Christian leaders.

Reading and Reading Rooms

Participants read two books and participate in online reading rooms to discuss highlights, learnings and take-aways.

Peer Groups

Each cohort is split into peer groups based on physical location. These peer groups meet together four times across the duration of the program.

Leadership Partners

Participants meet four times with an experienced Leadership Partner to discuss life, and ministry issues, their reading and progress on leadership development through guided reflection.

Development Projects

Participants undertake two projects that complement their learning in the program. Firstly, a review of their leadership, producing affirmation, encouragement and growth opportunities and secondly a practical ministry reflection.

"I'm in - SIGN ME UP!"

Arrow Leadership values the partnership with Australian College of Ministries (ACOM)  which provides participants a pathway to complete formal qualifications in the field of Christian leadership.

Through this partnership Arrow participants can complete four subjects toward a Diploma of Ministry.
